Envision a Society Where Necessities Are as Accessible as Air

Imagine a society where access to daily necessities is not a privilege but as accessible as the air we breathe. Sadly, today’s society is far from this ideal. Countless families struggle to meet their basic needs, and many go days, months, or even years without access to essentials. According to the World Bank, over 385 million children live in extreme poverty, defined as surviving on less than $1.90 a day. These children often lack adequate food, clean water, and sanitation, forcing them to carry burdens that no child should ever have to bear.

This summer, JEUZi Brand took a step towards making a difference in the lives of these children. We hosted a two-day event dedicated to assisting children in need. The first day was held at "Iglesia Asambleas De Dios El Gran Yo Soy" in La Romana, Dominican Republic. At the event, we provided food, school supplies, toys, and most importantly, Bibles. The day was filled with joy, with singing, dancing, clown performances, and games. By the end of the day, many children embraced their faith, leaving not just with full hands, but with full hearts, having accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

On the second day, our team traveled to a rural area in La Romana. Similar to the first day, we distributed food, school supplies, toys, and Bibles. In addition, we offered hair care services, including washing, haircuts, and styling. Over 600 children attended each event, benefiting from the care and resources provided.

John F. Kennedy once said, "Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future." When children lack access to daily necessities, it becomes difficult for them to be that hope. Instead of focusing on the positives of life, these children often grapple with the harsh realities of survival.
